Our Rooms
Over the years, the Pack Horse has become a popular place to stay, and as a result, 7 additional bedrooms have been added. The original 5 rooms are located in the barn adjacent to the main building and retain some of the original oak beams. The new rooms, comprising 4 superior rooms and 3 executive rooms, are situated in the main building and offer a range of facilities to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. All rooms are non-smoking and en-suite, and a travel cot is available on request.
The stable block rooms, located in the old stable block annexe, have their own private entrance and are equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, fresh fruit bowls, and toiletries. They also benefit from free wifi and flatscreen TVs.
Superior rooms feature a 10-channel 23 flat screen TV with built-in clock/radio/alarm, large 5ft bed, bath with shower over, complimentary fruit bowl, toiletries, free broadband internet connection, and trouser press. Executive rooms offer all the facilities of the Superior rooms with the addition of complimentary bathrobes and slippers.
Bar & Food
The friendly locals bar at the Pack Horse Inn boasts a minimum of 3 hand-pulled guest ales together with Tetley bitter. The guest ales change frequently, and the inn has been CAMRA listed for over a decade. Traditional bar meals and snacks are available or for a more formal meal, there is a comfortable dining-room which overlooks the patio area - a pleasant place to eat and drink in the warmer weather. In the Winter, the bar area has two welcoming log fires.
