We are Rebecca and Patrick, the new owners of Claycott, a luxury holiday home in Abbotsham, North Devon. Taking over from Jacquie Willoughby in July 2023, we now reside in the main house, Claycott, with our two daughters, Frankie and Ida. Having moved from London in 2023, we have embraced our new coastal lifestyle, spending weekends swimming, surfing, and exploring the local area. Our deepening knowledge of North Devon allows us to offer tailored advice for guests seeking to discover the region.Claycott, part of a charming 17th-century longhouse, combines historic character with modern comforts, including a heated pool, hot tub, and cinema/games room. The private hot tub provides a luxurious space to unwind, ideal for evening stargazing or post-beach relaxation. Located on the sun terrace, it features adjustable jets and temperature controls, accommodating up to six guests comfortably in a serene setting.
Cinema/games room
The newly renovated cinema/games room features an 85-inch screen, pool table, ping pong table, and climbing wall. Designed for all ages, it offers a mezzanine bed and sofa-bed for additional sleeping arrangements during inclement weather.
Tennis court
Guests have shared access to a tennis court with the owners, rarely used by residents. The court is floodlit for evening play and includes equipment storage. Regular maintenance ensures optimal playing conditions throughout the year.
EV charging
A dedicated EV charger is available in the forecourt at 50p per kWh. Designed for guest convenience, the facility supports various electric vehicle models and operates 24/7 with secure access during stay periods.
