Adolfo Harrison Gardens is a renowned garden design practice based in London, crafting exquisite and sustainable landscapes across the United Kingdom. We specialise in transforming the most intricate briefs into magnificent and enduring gardens, established on the principles of man and nature's harmonious balance. Since 2006, we have created an array of private and public gardens, each designed to create an emotional connection between our clients and their surroundings. Biography: Adolfo Harrison MAFA MSGD

Adolfo Harrison, the founder of Adolfo Harrison Gardens, began his career as an artist and curator in London and Barcelona. After completing his Masters in Fine Art, he pursued post-graduate studies in garden design and horticulture. He spent a formative year at London's oldest botanical garden, The Chelsea Physic Garden.

Adolfo is a member of the esteemed Society of Garden Designers and sits on the selection panel for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. He also teaches Garden Design at KLC and has been a mentor to the Royal Horticultural Society's Young Designer of the Year competitors. In both 2019 and 2020, his gardens received the prestigious Judges Award at the Society of Garden Designers Awards. He has previously advised on the garden design syllabus at City Lit and has been involved in educational and public realm initiatives in the London Boroughs of Hackney and Newham.

Adolfo co-curates Cityscapes, a platform that encourages innovation and creativity in landscape and horticulture, working alongside the UK's most acclaimed cultural organisations and designers. Cityscapes has won the highest accolades from both the Royal Horticultural Society and the Society of Garden Designers.

Services

At Adolfo Harrison Gardens, we manage all aspects of private and public garden design and construction in our studio. We provide consultation services but specialise in full design and build projects, working closely with contractors and specialists who deliver on time and within budget.

Our process includes:

• First Meeting: This initial consultation offers an opportunity to discuss your brief and share ideas. After this meeting, we will present your options for proceeding.
• Concept Stage: Following a site and soil survey, we initiate a concept design, complete with site analysis, sketches, layout plans, 3D illustrations, estimated costs, and examples of similar work.
• Master Plans: Once a design is approved, we create detailed master drawings, specifications, source samples, structural drawings, lighting and planting plans, enabling accurate costing and construction.
• Build: We monitor the build, from start to finish, ensuring all parties are satisfied, and lead the planting process.
• Aftercare: Gardens should continually evolve and improve. We offer a twice-yearly garden review as part of an aftercare agreement.
• Maintenance: If you require a maintenance service, we can recommend landscape maintenance contractors and provide expert advice on your behalf. We suggest allocating a certain budget for landscape maintenance each year.
