Welcome to Highmore Hedgehogs, your trusted nursery provider located in the heart of Westfields Community Hall, overlooking the beautiful racecourse in Hereford. We are dedicated to offering high-quality and flexible childcare services to all children within the local community and beyond, starting from 18 months old. Our aim is to create a safe, warm, and welcoming environment where children can play, learn, and develop. We believe in providing a wide range of fun and stimulating activities that enable children to explore, investigate, use their imagination, and build friendships, all while having a great time!
At Highmore Hedgehogs, we highly encourage parents and families to participate in our activities and sessions. We value the importance of sharing information between home and nursery, and actively work together with families to support each child's learning and development.
Our Nursery
Highmore Hedgehogs is a family-friendly, non-profit making nursery that has been proudly serving the Westfields community since May 2000. Our spacious, bright, and airy playroom allows children to play, learn, and explore in a comfortable environment. We also have a smaller room designed for more focused activities or quiet time for smaller groups. Our free-flow system of play enables children to access the large patio and garden area freely throughout the day and in all weathers, providing ample opportunities for exploring and investigating in the natural environment. Our garden offers stunning views of Hereford racecourse, making our nursery a truly unique and special place for children to grow and learn.
Our Team
At Highmore Hedgehogs, we take great pride in our dedicated and experienced team of professionals. Our current team consists of 10 members of staff, all of whom have a strong commitment to training and continuing their professional development. We attend regular training courses to update our skills and knowledge, ensuring we provide the best possible care for your child.

Our Curriculum
