Bubear and Jones, established since 1956, originally from Headley forge in Surrey, have evolved from being blacksmiths and agricultural engineers serving the local community, to becoming steel framed building and steel engineering specialists. Over the years, the company has grown and moved from the old forge to a new modern purpose-built industrial complex near Gatwick. Despite the change in location, Bubear and Jones remain committed to providing the same high-quality service to their customers.

Our Services

At Bubear and Jones, we specialize in steel buildings, offering a wide range of steel frame buildings built and constructed from cold rolled and hot rolled steel that meets the British Standards specification. Our steel buildings are manufactured and supplied in Surrey and the south of England. We provide steel barns, commercial and industrial buildings, agricultural and equestrian buildings, residential and domestic buildings, all built from high-grade steel. Our team of experts handles the supply, fitting, and even self-assembly of steel building flat packs.

In addition, we supply and build commercial and industrial units to any configuration, with mezzanine floors, roller doors, and half wall cladding all to industrial spec. Our residential steel buildings include steel frame buildings and extensions with wood, glass, or steel cladding, built from your architect's plans. We also provide steel barns and steel buildings built for cover, storage, and the security of live stock, with internal stabling and partitioning to any configuration. Our bespoke steel buildings are custom-made to measure, designed to fit into an existing property or as standalone units.

Our steel fabrication services cover various aspects of the industry, including gates, builders beams and construction steel, and general construction plant equipment and lorry hire.
