Our Team

Gordon Ryan, the founder of Ryan's CDM, has been working in the construction industry for over thirty years and established the company in 1995. As a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building, Gordon has extensive knowledge in planning legislation, design, and construction. He is a dedicated family man and a keen cyclist who enjoys travelling in his spare time.

Lawrence Fenwick, who joined Ryan's in 2012, has over thirty-five years of experience in the construction industry. Lawrence is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building, with a background in project planning, programming, mechanical and electrical installations, and contract management. He resides in Chalfont St Giles, where he enjoys walking, golf, and spending quality time with his friends and family.

Planning & Design

Our expert in-house design capability enables us to provide a highly personal and professional service that caters to our clients' exact specifications and timescales. This includes:

• Full working scaled drawings and specifications
• Advising clients on specific Local Authority planning requirements and any restrictions that may apply
• Liaising with Planning Officers to ensure proposed designs meet all Local Authority planning requirements
• Preparing and submitting planning application documents to Local Authority planning departments
• Providing budget costs and detailed cost plans for permitted applications
