Empowering Survivors through Storytelling and Support

At Quetzal, we are dedicated to supporting women who have experienced the trauma of childhood sexual abuse. Our organisation is committed to providing a safe and confidential space for women to share their experiences, emotions, and thoughts without fear of judgment. Our team of trained counsellors offers empathy, validation, and understanding, helping women process their emotions and navigate the complex feelings associated with the abuse.

Our Services

We offer a range of counselling services, including long-term counselling, single session therapy, and group workshops. Our services are designed to support survivors of all ages, backgrounds, and circumstances. Our counsellors are experienced in trauma and abuse, providing the appropriate support and guidance for each individual's unique needs.

As a woman-only service, we understand the importance of creating a safe and inclusive space for women to heal and recover. Our services address gender-specific issues, such as body image, relationships, boundaries, trust, and empowerment, focusing on the unique experiences and societal expectations that women face. Our counsellors are trained to explore these aspects and provide specialised support.

Why Quetzal?

We believe that everyone's journey is unique, and that's why we offer a range of services to complement your healing process. Our organisation is committed to providing a safe and secure environment, with an all-female workforce and volunteer team. We understand the importance of a woman-only space, providing an additional layer of safety and comfort for survivors.

Our goal is to support women in rebuilding their lives, regaining control and empowerment, and finding a path towards healing and recovery. We believe that with the right support and guidance, women can overcome the trauma of childhood sexual abuse and live fulfilling lives.

Our Impact
