Langton Optometrists is an independent practice founded in 1948, serving the local community of Bridlington and the surrounding area for over 65 years. At Langton Optometrists, we have built a strong reputation for the quality of our professional expertise and service. We know that if we want to provide you with the best possible eye care, we need to keep up to date with the latest optometrical techniques and technology, naturally we do all of that.
Our Services
At Langton's, we offer a range of services to fit all your eye care needs. Our comprehensive eye examinations are tailored specifically to each individual, and we recommend sight examinations on a 2-yearly basis, with exceptions for children, contact lens wearers, and people with certain medical conditions who should be seen annually. We also offer contact lenses, with our fully qualified Optometrists examining your eyes and determining their health and suitability specifically for contact lens wear. Additionally, we provide services for dry eyes and dry eye syndrome, as well as CORRS emergency eye care appointments, provided free on the NHS for patients registered with a GP in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Our optometrists are highly skilled and have additional accreditation in screening for Diabetic Retinopathy, Glaucoma, Red Eye, Ocular Hypertension, and Cataracts. From fashion to function, trend to traditional, your glasses are as personal as you make them. Our trained dispensing Opticians are here to help you choose from over 600 frames and to recommend the best lens options to meet your needs. For any age, for any budget, we are sure to find a frame or contact lenses suited to you.
