The story of our company begins in 1935, when Andrew Watt, our founder, opened the first car component outlet in Glasgow. At that time, there were approximately 1.7 million cars on the roads of Great Britain. Today, this number has exponentially increased to over 25 million, leading to a surge in the demand for car parts and technology. We have been at the forefront of this growth, adapting to the changing needs of our customers and the industry.

The reigns of the company were passed on to John Bell, Andrew Watt's son, in 1961. He managed the company through several challenging times, including the Suez crisis, the three-day week, and two worldwide recessions. His leadership was instrumental in keeping the business afloat and preparing it for the future.

In 1981, I joined the company and embraced the latest computerised technology to stay ahead of the competition. We have since continually changed to suit the needs of modern-day garage workshops and are committed to continuing this level of change at a more radical and faster rate. With 65 years of experience and three generations of leadership, we are determined to develop the business both internally and geographically to provide the service and products your business needs to prosper.
