Our History
Badgers Oak Veterinary Clinic was founded by George Hnatkiwskyj in 1993 as a small, single-vet practice in the centre of the village. Over the years, we have grown steadily and now employ around 20 staff members. We celebrated our 30th birthday recently, and we're proud of how far we've come. Our practice has moved to a larger site at George's family home, which offers ample parking spaces, including for horse lorries and livestock trailers.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of services for small animals, horses, and farm animals. For small animals, we provide vaccinations, neutering, advice on parasite control, microchipping, animal health certificates, and pet weight loss management. For horses, we offer vaccinations, microchipping, and passports. For farm animals, we provide worm egg counts, herd health planning, and other essential services.
Our Commitment
We pride ourselves on being a well-equipped, friendly, and approachable local practice. Unlike many other veterinary surgeries in the area, we run our own out-of-hours service, ensuring that our clients never have to travel to an unfamiliar surgery with a sick pet or wait for a vet they don't know. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of care and service to our clients and their animals.
Our Team
Our team consists of eight mixed animal vets, five qualified veterinary nurses, two trainee veterinary nurses, and four administrators. We are passionate about providing exceptional care and service to our clients and their animals. We are committed to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and surgery to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
