Our Story
Alec Butcher, our founder, has been in the funeral profession for over 35 years and is fully qualified. He has built up a wealth of knowledge and experience within the funeral industry, having worked as a funeral director in Norwich and looked after funeral homes in Beccles, Bungay, and Halesworth. Prior to that, he was Assistant Superintendent at St Faith's Crematorium for six years. Alec is dedicated to providing a high-quality service that is tailored to your exact needs and wishes.
Our Services
Our services include arranging burial and cremation services locally, repatriation, direct cremations, horse-drawn and motorcycle hearses. We can help you with obtaining a death certificate and registration, and offer guidance every step of the way. We understand that every family is unique, which is why we offer a bespoke service that reflects your loved one's life and personality. Our prices are competitive, and we're happy to discuss your needs and requirements without any obligation.
Our Team
Vanessa Butcher, our co-founder, has worked as a health professional for over 30 years, both as a nurse and midwife. She is a fully trained Celebrant, having completed her training with the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants. Vanessa officiates at most of our services, and we find that our families appreciate having the option of our own in-house Celebrant as well as other local Celebrants and Ministers.
