As a graduate and grade 8 pianist, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my teaching, offering piano lessons for children and adults with patience, enthusiasm, and flexibility. My teaching methods cater to each student's individual needs, ensuring they develop a strong musical foundation while exploring various musical styles.
Services Offered
I offer piano lessons in my home, with half-hour sessions costing just 15 (or hour-long sessions for 30 upon request). I am experienced in teaching beginners, special needs students, and those returning to piano lessons after many years. Additionally, I prepare students for ABRSM exams, including theory, and offer guidance on purchasing or renting a suitable piano or keyboard for practice sessions.
High Exam Success Rate
Over the years, I have built an impressive exam success rate, with the majority of my students achieving Distinctions or Merits in their ABRSM exams. I also specialise in teaching grade 5 music theory, a crucial aspect of many piano students' musical development.
Teaching All Ages and Levels
My current student age range is from 7 to the mid-80s, demonstrating my adaptability and commitment to music education for all ages. As a mother of two grown-up sons I taught to grade 8 standard, I understand the importance of fostering a love for music in young students and guiding them towards their musical aspirations.

I take special pride in teaching beginners, helping them navigate the fundamentals of piano playing and music theory. I create a comfortable and welcoming learning environment, making it easy for students to feel at ease and excited to learn the piano.

Many of my students live near Saughall in areas such as Sealand, Shotwick, Mollington, Two Mills, and Puddington. However, I am also pleased to teach piano learners from further afield in Chester, Wirral, and North Wales.
