Our driving instructor, Colin Willis, has lived in Stonehouse for nearly 30 years and is fully committed to providing exceptional driving lessons. With a valid DSA (Driving Standards Agency) approval, Colin offers one-to-one tuition tailored to each student's individual needs and abilities, ensuring that they receive the best possible guidance and support. We understand that every student is different, and we take great care in adapting our teaching methods to suit each student's learning style.

At Willis School of Motoring, we pride ourselves on teaching to the highest possible standards and achieving impressive results. We collect students from their homes, work, or college and drop them off elsewhere, provided that proper notice has been given. Our car is fully insured for learner drivers and equipped with dual controls, ensuring that students are safe and secure during their driving lessons.

In preparation for the driving test, we conduct mock tests designed to fully prepare students for the big day. We believe that our driving lessons are of the highest standard, and we cover Stonehouse and the surrounding areas.

Getting Started

To start learning to drive, you need to be 17 years old and have a valid provisional driving license. To apply for a provisional driving license, you can complete a D1 form from the post office and send it to the DVLA with your passport or birth certificate and a passport-sized photo, or click the link below.

Lesson Fees

Our lesson fees are very competitive, with hourly, 90-minute, and two-hour lessons available. Our fees are as follows:

• 45 for a 1-hour lesson
• 60 for a 90-minute lesson
• 80 for a 2-hour lesson

PASS Plus

We offer the PASS Plus course, a complete 6-hour course, designed by the DSA with the help of insurers and the driving instruction industry. The course aims to help new drivers become more confident and qualified for a discount on their car insurance. The PASS Plus course consists of six modules about driving in different conditions:

• In town
• In all weathers
• On rural roads
• At night
• On dual carriageways
• On motorways
