I'm Tim Barber, the founder and experienced marketer behind Lightfish, and I'm here to offer you "safe marketing hands" that can take on projects you don't have the time or resources to handle. With strategic, direct marketing, and project management skills, I aim to bring structure and direction to your marketing projects.

My Background

Having spent over two decades in the marketing industry, I have gathered a wealth of experience working with companies of various sizes and across different sectors. My journey began as the Direct Mail & Retention Manager at Green Flag, which was followed by a stint at Judith Donovan Associates - one of the top direct marketing academies. In 2007, I became a Prince 2 practitioner, acquiring the industry's leading project management qualification.

My career took a significant turn when I spent 13 years as a board director at PCD Agency - now Ewe - a direct and digital specialist agency. During my time at PCD, I helped the agency grow while managing creative and account management staff, focusing on relationship building at senior levels, and working on strategic planning for both PCD and its clients.

Since then, Lightfish has continued to thrive, offering marketing project management services to businesses from diverse industries. I work on retainers for some clients and on a project-by-project basis for others, providing the flexibility needed to cater to various clients' needs.
