The Keytars are one of the most popular wedding bands in Lancashire and the North West, performing a huge variety of classic party songs to keep your audience on the dance floor all night long. Our Story
The Keytars were formed back in late 2009 when Chris and Paul met Andy Hall. Chris and Paul have been making music together since they were 15 years old, starting a high-energy rock and pop party band called Paradox. They gigged together on and off until they finally landed a contract for Thomson holidays (now TUI) in 2008 in a function band duo called Silhouette. This took them off to Thomson's first ever Sensatori resort in Crete for two seasons. Once they returned in September 2009, they bumped into Andy Hall and eventually asked him to join them. The addition of Andy added a rock edge and comedy to their act, creating a mix of fun, entertaining, and impressive wedding entertainment.
Our Services
When you book The Keytars for your wedding or event, you can expect two high-energy live sets of tried and tested party songs that are guaranteed to get any crowd on their feet and onto the dance floor. Our eclectic repertoire and unique style ensure that we cater to a wide range of tastes and ages, making us the perfect choice for any wedding or corporate event.
In addition to our live sets, we also offer a Spotify DJ'ing service at a small surcharge. This allows us to play your favorite tunes before, in-between, and after our sets, making sure the party never stops. We also offer wedding breakfast or drinks reception music, performed by Chris and Paul, featuring chilled numbers from the likes of Frank Sinatra, Ed Sheeran, and many others.
Our equipment is top-notch, with a PA system capable of handling up to 300 guests, and a full lighting setup. We also cater to venues with noise limiter devices, ensuring that we can control the volume to meet your venue's specific requirements.
Meet the Band
Meet Paul, Chris, and Andy, the talented trio behind The Keytars. With years of experience and a passion for music, they have perfected their craft, offering an unforgettable experience for any wedding or event. Chris fronts the band and writes and records his own acoustic music in his spare time. Paul is the band's guitarist and vocalist, and also runs his own PPC ad agency and e-commerce company. Andy is the band's drummer and adds a rock edge and comedy to their act.
