Little Tewkes Nursery

At Little Tewkes, we are proud to offer a welcoming and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5 years, as well as after-school care for school children aged up to 8 years old. Our nursery has a rich history, dating back to 1960, and has been under the proprietorship of Deborah Battams since 2000. Deborah's commitment to providing a stable and loving environment for children has led to a dedicated team of staff who have been with the nursery since its inception.

Our Purpose

Our purpose-built building, opened in 2006, offers a unique and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. With beautiful landscaped views, a lockable pram port, full disabled access, and a spacious outdoor play area, we provide a safe and inclusive space for all children. We strive to create a sense of community among our children, staff, and families, promoting positive self-image, respect, and kindness towards others.
