Access and Parking
Truckers are advised to use the HGV entrance, not the head office entrance. Upon arrival, press the intercom at the gates and provide registration and trailer numbers. Drive in, keeping to the left, and follow the road up a slight hill, passing the transport office and arriving at the "crown", where 8 HGV parking spaces are available.
Facilities and Procedures
Drivers are required to wait in their trucks until they are called to proceed to the designated area. A FLT driver will then attend to assist with loading. After loading, drivers will receive paperwork and must return to the security gate, providing registration, trailer, and load order details. The canteen facilities are available, with set times for contractors typically between 9:30-11:00 am.
Tips and Recommendations
For HGV drivers, it is recommended to use the sat nav postcode WA10 3SS to avoid roads unsuitable for large vehicles.
Negative Experiences
