In Steel (Blacksmith & Fabricators) Ltd is a family-run business established in 1991, with a reputation for quality and efficiency in the fabrication industry. We have developed a highly regarded client base in the UK, predominantly in the South West of England, and take pride in providing a professional, tailor-made service to meet our clients' requirements. Our team of experts, including designers, estimators, fabricators, machine operators, and welders, work together to design and fabricate a wide range of products and services, from staircases and structural steel to balustrades, steel buildings, gates, and railings.
Our Services
At In Steel, we offer a diverse range of services to cater to the needs of our clients. Our design team uses the latest STRUCAD and TEKLA 3D design software, as well as Autocad, to create bespoke designs that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. We fabricate staircases, fire escapes, structural steel, stainless steel and structural glass balustrades, steel buildings, gates, railings, and stainless steel fabrications. Our team works with a variety of materials, including steel, stainless steel in 303, 304 and 316L, copper, corten, and aluminium, and we have the capability to weld and fabricate parts for both domestic and commercial use.
Facilities and Capabilities
Our facilities are equipped with the latest technology, including grit blasting facilities up to 12m in length, wet paint facilities, hot metal spraying, and powder coating capacity up to 6.5m in length. We have a separate workshop for stainless steel and aluminium fabrications to prevent cross-contamination from iron particles. Our team is committed to providing a high-quality service, and we have a quality management system in place, with BS-EN 1090-1 CE marking Execution class 3, which became a legal requirement in 2014 for all steel used in construction.
Our History and Experience
Over the years, we have had the privilege of working on some exciting projects, including fabricating parts for the Man Engine, putting wings on Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and exporting 60 tonnes of steel to Timbuktu. Our experience and expertise have allowed us to develop a reputation for excellence in the fabrication industry, and we are committed to continuing to provide a high-quality service to our clients.
