Derrychrin Primary School is a caring community focused on children and committed to their individual good. With a rich history dating back to 1866, our school has been serving the Parish of Ballinderry with pride. We are a well-resourced school with an excellent staff who are fully committed to enhancing the academic, emotional, social, and spiritual needs of our pupils.

Our pupils are friendly, mannerly, and highly motivated to learn. We enjoy excellent support from our parents, Governors, and various groups within our local community. Our Achievements

We are proud of our achievements, both academically and extracurricularly. Our pupils have excelled in various competitions and tournaments, including the Doire Cumann Na mBunscol Champions 2024 and the South Derry Cumann na mBunscol Division 1 Boys' Football Championship Winners 2024.
