The National Justice Museum is an educational charity that offers a unique and immersive learning experience for children and young people. Our purpose is to inspire minds and foster a deeper understanding of the law and justice through experiential learning. We achieve this by providing curriculum-linked learning programmes that are both engaging and informative, using real courtrooms, museum spaces, and objects to bring the law to life.
Our vision is to be a leading provider of innovative and interactive learning experiences that promote social mobility, community engagement, and positive learning outcomes. We aim to do this by creating a dynamic and inclusive environment that inspires children and young people to develop a deeper understanding of the law and justice, and to become active and responsible citizens.
Our Services
We offer a range of educational programmes for Key Stages 1-5, which are designed to be hands-on, interactive, and fun. Our programmes are delivered by experienced educators and trained courtroom facilitators who use real-life cases and scenarios to bring the law to life. Our programmes are available at our museum sites in Nottingham, London, and the North, as well as through our virtual courtroom workshops and on-tour events.
Our flagship programme, "Choices and Consequences, " is an award-winning exhibition and knife-crime prevention workshop that provides a totally immersive and emotional exploration of the impact of knife crime in an authentic police station setting. We also offer bespoke learning experiences that can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your school or group.
