Established in 1851, we are proud to be the world's oldest inland golf course and the 25th oldest golf club globally. Our historic course was originally designed by Old Tom Morris and George Sayers, with significant refinements by James Braid in 1927, creating the layout we maintain today. Built on ancient glacial sands, our moorland course offers firm, undulating fairways and large, fast greens playable year-round.
