Tiger Tots Day Nursery is a privately owned nursery, situated in the picturesque town of Seahill, Holywood, just off the main Bangor Road (A2). The nursery is owned and run by Adele Moore, a mother of two, who has established a nurturing environment where children can thrive and learn in a caring and homely atmosphere. Our spacious, modern, purpose-built facility boasts excellent indoor and outdoor facilities, designed to inspire and engage young minds. At Tiger Tots, we strive for excellence in all that we do and are committed to continuously monitoring, evaluating, and improving our standards of care.

Our Rooms

Here at Tiger Tots Day Nursery, we offer a variety of rooms catering to different age groups and stages of development.

*Cubs*: Our Cubs room is designed for children aged 4 months to 24 months. Our Cubs team understands the importance of routine for new mothers and will work around your child's individual routine. A typical day for a Cub may include playing peek-a-boo, making hand paintings for mum and dad, exploring new sensations, and of course, receiving plenty of cuddles!

*Bumblebees*: Our Bumblebees room is for children aged 2-3 years. As children discover their independence, we encourage and guide them to further develop their confidence while expanding their knowledge of the world around them. A Bumblebee's world is full of learning stories, counting numbers, learning their ABC's, and language development.

*Owls*: Our Owls room is for pre-school children aged 3 and above. Our aim is to ensure that your child reaches their full potential and is prepared for the transition to primary school. This means introducing them to the six key learning areas in the pre-school curriculum, including building on their basic numeracy and language skills, physical, social, and emotional development, and expanding their knowledge in the arts and the world around them.

Nutrition

At Tiger Tots Day Nursery, we are committed to ensuring that every child enjoys fresh and nutritionally balanced food. Our team of chefs is passionate about introducing a wide range of flavours from a young age, from their variety of delicious soft baby foods, to tasty curries and homely dishes for our older children. Meals are prepared daily in our own kitchen and weekly menus are displayed in the reception area. We understand that some children may be fussy eaters, and we are always on hand to offer advice and support. Our team is experienced in dealing with a variety of feeding issues, from fussy eaters to teething and sleeping problems.

Safety & Security

At Tiger Tots Day Nursery, the safety and security of your child is our top priority. That's why we have gone further than most in the fit-out of our premises, with extensive CCTV networks throughout, cameras on every external door, in every room, and in all common areas. We have strict security protocols in place to ensure the safety and well-being of every child in our care. For added peace of mind, we also have a secure door entry system, ensuring that only authorised personnel have access to our facilities.
