Our Accommodation
Our cattery pens are designed to provide multiple levels for climbing enrichment, allowing cats to relax at different heights. Each pen is fully heated during colder periods and has plenty of ventilation during the warmer periods, ensuring your cat's comfort at all times. We have pens to suit any cat size or age, including extra-large pens for families of up to 4 cats.
Our Care
We provide a range of dry and wet food options from all major brands, including Felix, Whiskas, Sheba, Gourmet, Iams, Purina, and Go-cat, as well as treats such as Dreamies, Lick-e-Lix, and treat sticks. Cats are fed to the owner's instructions, and if you would like to bring their own food, that's absolutely fine. We also offer cooked chicken and tuna for even the fussiest eaters.
Enrichment and Activities
We believe that enrichment is a key factor in ensuring our guests are happy and settled during their stay. Each pen is equipped with multiple levels, ladders to scale, and hides to take themselves away when they would like some quiet time. Pens are fitted with fixed scratching posts, and toys can be provided upon request. You are more than welcome to bring something from home to leave with your cat.
Cleaning and Hygiene
New arrivals are placed into a freshly disinfected pen with fresh litter tray, bowls, and bedding. The accommodation is cleaned daily with animal-safe disinfectant, and litter trays are cleaned as frequently as needed. Fresh food bowls are provided with each meal, and water is replenished every morning and topped up throughout the day.
Security and Updates
Security is paramount at The Friendly Cattery. We have installed double door systems on all buildings, and all areas are staff-only. Buildings have CCTV and are alarmed during out-of-hours time periods. We want owners to be confident that their cat is well and truly in safe hands. While your cat is with us, we like to provide you with updates on how they are settling in. Feel free to call or email, and we will be happy to update you. We can also post photos on our Facebook page or send them privately via Facebook messenger.
