The Bell Inn is a historic free house and music pub on the edge of Bath city centre, owned by around 600 of its customers, fans, and workers under IPS CoOperative rules. We finally bought the pub on July 2nd, 2013. Our pub is a community-driven venue that offers a unique blend of live music, delicious food, and a wide selection of real ales.
Our Services
We are passionate about live music and host free live music events three to four times a week, ranging from jazz to blues to folk to roots and beyond. Our music events are carefully curated to showcase local and international talent, ensuring that our customers have a unique and unforgettable experience. In addition to live music, we also offer open mic nights on Thursdays, DJ sets at the weekends, and a variety of activities such as bar billiards, chess, backgammon, and free wi-fi.
Our food menu features delicious pizzas, which can be enjoyed in our cosy garden or inside the pub. We take pride in sourcing high-quality ingredients from local suppliers to ensure that our pizzas are always fresh and flavorful. We also offer a range of snacks and light bites to complement our music events.
Our Ales
We are proud to offer a wide selection of real ales, including seven regular ales and two guest ales that change every week. We support small, local, and independent breweries, ensuring that our customers have access to a diverse range of beers that are both unique and delicious.
Our Venue
Our pub is a popular venue for private events, such as birthday parties, weddings, and corporate functions. Our Back Bar is available for hire, complete with a PA system, sound engineer, and a bar. We also offer a range of catering options to suit your specific needs.
