Family Dental Care

Family Dental Care has been a staple of East Lothian's dental community since 1977. It all began when Chris Price took over the practice at 97 High Street, and the practice has been growing steadily ever since. In 2001, we became a training practice, taking on new dental graduates each year. Our long-awaited move into larger, purpose-built premises took place in September 2013. In 2017, Pradeep Chinta joined the practice and became a partner in November 2019. We now have a team of 11 dentists, 2 part-time specialists, an orthodontic therapist, 18 nurses, and 2 receptionists. Our practice managers, Anne Wyllie and Lesley Gemmell, ensure the smooth running of the practice.

Our Facilities

Our purpose-built facilities in East Lothian boast state-of-the-art dental equipment and technology. We have a dedicated training room for new dental graduates and dedicated consultation rooms for patient privacy. Our facilities are wheelchair accessible, and we have designated parking for our patients.
