Senior School Destinations
We are proud of our academic achievements, and our pupils leave Springmead with strong academic outcomes. They go on to attend many selective independent senior schools, where they continue to thrive and excel. Our close relationships with senior schools enable us to provide expert guidance and support during the transition process.
Our Nursery
Our nursery provides a caring and stimulating environment for children aged 3 to 4 years. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, which focuses on the prime areas of learning: communication and language, physical development and personal, social and emotional development. We also introduce children to the specific areas of learning: literacy, mathematics, understanding the world and expressive arts and design.
Term Dates
Our term dates are designed to provide a balance between academic study, enrichment activities and rest. We follow the same term dates as state schools in Somerset, with a few minor adjustments to accommodate our enrichment programme and school events.
