Quality of Products and Staff
Some reviewers have had positive experiences with the quality of Craghoppers' products and staff. Dennis MacPhail and Amanda Fernandez both praised the high-quality clothing and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Dennis mentioned that many of the clothing items have insect shield, which is great for outdoor activities. Amanda was impressed with the staff's enthusiasm, knowledge, and willingness to go above and beyond, including shipping an item directly to her home.
Issues with Sales and Customer Service
However, several reviewers have had negative experiences with Craghoppers. Jonathan Houde called the company a "scam" and reported being ripped off when buying a "buy one get one free" deal. R. W. had a terrible experience with Craghoppers' online service, describing it as the "polar opposite" of Zappos. They found the return process to be complicated, and the quality of the product was poor, with the internal pockets not even sewn shut. Chaz C. had a similar experience, receiving a confirmation of a online order only to receive an email two weeks later saying the item was out of stock.
Sizing Issues
D. reported that the sizes at Craghoppers are different from those in the UK, with a 16 being equivalent to XXXL.
