At Sherborne Dance Academy, we are passionate about providing high-quality dance education to students of all ages and abilities. Our beautiful, dedicated dance studio in the heart of Sherborne is equipped with wall-to-wall mirrors, fixed barres, and professional standard dance flooring, creating the perfect environment for our students to learn and grow.
Our Teaching Ethos

Our experienced and qualified teachers are dedicated to delivering engaging and challenging classes that cater to the needs of each individual student.
Our Classes
We offer a wide range of classes for all ages and abilities, from pre-school to adults. Our classes include RAD ballet, IDTA tap, contemporary modern jazz, and PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique). We also offer private lessons on request in any discipline. Our classes are designed to be fun, engaging, and challenging, and we strive to create a sense of community and belonging among our students.
Our Teachers
Our school principal, Caroline Cole, is a fully qualified ballet teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and is qualified to teach classical ballet, tap, and contemporary modern jazz to all ages and abilities. Our younger students, and some adult classes, are taught by trainee teacher Miss Jay, who has a lifelong passion for dance and lots of experience working with children. Our senior classes are taught by Miss Loretta, a CSTD(cb) and PBT certified teacher.
