Championship Golf in Historic Northamptonshire
Established in 1893, Wellingborough Golf Club is a private members' club located at the historic Harrowden Hall in Northamptonshire. Our championship golf course spans 160 acres of rolling parkland and regularly hosts PGA and County golf events. The club completed a major bunker refurbishment in 2017 using rubber-crumb lining and tournament-grade sand for improved playability. In 2023, we installed a state-of-the-art irrigation system to enhance course presentation and member experience. Recognised as having one of the UK's finest finishing holes alongside The Belfry and Carnoustie, our course offers exceptional challenges for golfers of all levels. We welcome non-members for pre-bookable functions including conferences, weddings, and private events in our historic venue. Our dedicated team can tailor packages for up to 80 attendees or arrange marquee weddings for 200 guests in our magnificent grounds. The club's facilities include a PGA-accredited professional shop and James Whittemore Golf for expert tuition. We maintain strict adherence to golf etiquette and dress codes while offering modern amenities like electric trolleys and buggies.
