Meadow View Cattery is a luxury, purpose-built boarding cattery located in a rural setting on the outskirts of Newquay, near the A30. Our cattery has been designed in consultation with local authorities and the International Cat Care organisation (formerly Feline Advisory Bureau) and adheres to the 2009 regulations set out by these bodies. We offer top-quality care at affordable prices and cater to both short and long-term stays.
Our cattery is run by a qualified and registered veterinary nurse with over 30 years of experience. This ensures that your cat will receive the highest level of care and attention during their stay. We welcome cats of all ages and can accommodate those with special dietary or medical needs, including diabetic cats. We stock a range of top-quality foods, but if your cat requires a specialised or prescription diet, then you will need to provide your own food.
Our Services
At Meadow View Cattery, we offer a range of services to ensure that your cat is comfortable and well-cared for during their stay. All of our penthouse suites are fully insulated, heated, and have thermostatic control and lighting to ensure that your cat is warm and comfortable at all times. We also provide insurance for the duration of your cat's stay and have 24-hour veterinary emergency cover available when necessary.
Our penthouse suites are spacious and well-ventilated, and we provide scratch posts and toys in our exercise runs to keep your cat entertained. Daily basic grooming is performed, and nail cutting is available if required. We ensure that all cats are catered for, from the very young to the very old.
We offer a family penthouse suite that can house a multi-cat family of up to four cats. This suite is fully insulated, heated, and has thermostatic control and lighting to ensure that your cats are comfortable at all times. Prices start from 25 per day for up to two cats, with an additional 5 per cat thereafter.
Booking Information
When making a booking, we require that all cats are currently vaccinated against Cat Flu and Feline Enteritis. An up-to-date vaccination certificate must be produced on the cat's first day of arrival. We also require that all cats are treated for fleas and worms prior to their stay.
In the event of your cat becoming ill at any time during their stay, we will take them to our local veterinary surgery, Clifton Villa Vets in Newquay, who provide a 24-hour emergency care service. We ask that any health or dietary requirements are declared at the time of booking.
We have set opening times from Monday to Saturday, from 9.30 am to 11 am and 3.30 pm to 5 pm, and on Sundays from 9.30 am to 11 am. We offer an optional cat collection and delivery service for a small fee payable on arrival.
