Welcome to Silkwood Private Day Nursery & Creche, a privately owned facility located within the Total Fitness Centre, just off junction 40 of the M1. We are proud to offer full-day or sessional care for children aged between 0-5 years in our Day Nursery, open to both members and non-members of the gym. Our main goal is to provide quality, affordable childcare in a secure and safe environment.

Our spacious, open-plan, and air-conditioned setting is designed to stimulate and care for your child while offering a wide range of educational activities. Our Staff

Our children are cared for by a team of trained, experienced, and compassionate staff members. All employees have undergone Criminal Record Bureau checks and are led by qualified managers holding a minimum NVQ level 3 or an equivalent credential. Our staff-to-child ratios meet or exceed OFSTED's standards, ensuring your child receives individual attention and support.

We encourage children to develop a sense of responsibility and autonomy while learning to work and play cooperatively with others. Our key worker system assigns a dedicated staff member to each child, creating a strong bond between the child, the parents, and the nursery.
