We are delighted to introduce you to Saltaire Belle, the new home of the Terrace's mobile eatery. Located at Queen's Road, Saltaire, we are a regular sight at festivals and events across the region, and we are thrilled to have our own permanent space in the heart of Saltaire. Our doors are open Tuesday to Saturday, 11am to 10pm, and Sundays, 12noon to 5pm.
Our menu features a range of freshly cooked burgers and sandwiches, all made with locally sourced ingredients. We pride ourselves on using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients, and our chuck beef patties are a firm favourite among our customers. Our American-style sweet and ice-cream shop is also fast becoming legendary, and we serve a range of delicious milkshakes to complement our food.
Our New Home
We are thrilled to have our own permanent space on Queen's Road, Saltaire. We have three sheds and outdoor seating, where customers can enjoy the delicious food from the Saltaire Belle food truck while taking in the sights and sounds of Saltaire. Our new home allows us to serve our customers all week long, and we are excited to become a part of the local community.
When we are not at our new home, you can find us at various festivals and events in the area. Last year, we were very popular at the Dragonboat Race and Saltaire Festival, and we are always on the lookout for new and exciting events to attend. We are also available to attend private parties and events at local schools.
Our History
Saltaire Belle is the brainchild of Eric Poli, who ran the popular Saltaire bistro The Terrace for 14 years. Eric has always wanted to run an outdoor eatery and finally took the plunge last year after leaving the Terrace. "It's a different lifestyle, and I am really enjoying it - getting out and about, and meeting people." Eric is now enjoying the freedom of cooking and serving food at Saltaire Belle.
We are proud of our heritage and our connection to Saltaire, and we are committed to providing our customers with the best possible experience. Our team is passionate about food, and we are always on the lookout for new and exciting dishes to add to our menu. We believe that food should be a pleasure, and we strive to provide our customers with a dining experience that is both enjoyable and memorable.

Deliveroo/Takeaway Experience
Several customers have expressed disappointment with their takeaway or delivery experience from this establishment. Yazmin Kalkan rated 1 star due to soggy and undercooked food, while Immz also gave 1 star and described the burger as "worse than a McCheeseburger". Alanna White had a similarly disappointing experience, with cold panini and nachos, and a bland and watery gluten-free salad. White wine was also served at room temperature without ice.
Food Quality and Presentation
Some customers praised the food quality and presentation, such as Mark Armitage, who rated 5 stars and found the portion sizes and packaging to be good. Mark Jansen also gave 5 stars and appreciated the accommodating service for vegans. Susan Brown rated 5 stars and enjoyed the "tasty food" and "French atmosphere". Dan Jackson enjoyed his bacon and cheese burger and fries, although found the milkshake to be overpriced.
Atmosphere and Ambience
The atmosphere and ambience have been praised by some customers. Dan Jackson enjoyed the unique set-up with the kitchen trailer and wooden sheds, while Shane Davey and his wife enjoyed the cosy atmosphere and attentive staff. Bex McCormick also praised the atmosphere, saying it was "awesome".
Service
Some customers had mixed experiences with the service. Chris Jennings and Jake Shuttleworth both rated 2 stars, citing cold food and issues with ordering and drinks service. However, Mark Jansen and Shane Davey praised the friendly and attentive staff.
