A general medical practice has been serving the Cape Hill community for over half a century. Initially, the practice was situated at 147 Cape Hill, in what was once the local brewery manager's home. This residence also became the home and surgery of the first GP, Dr Aiken. Over the years, the practice has evolved into one of the most extensive primary healthcare teams in greater Birmingham. In early 2001, the practice moved to a state-of-the-art primary care building funded by a private finance initiative.

Patient Feedback on Cape Hill Medical Practice
It seems like the recent experiences of patients at Cape Hill Medical Practice have been largely negative. Many have reported long waiting times, rude staff, and difficulty in booking appointments. One patient mentioned being treated poorly by an admin staff member, including being shouted at in front of other patients. Another patient had to wait over four hours for an appointment, only to find out that the receptionist had the wrong time for their booking. There are also concerns about the availability of emergency appointments and the treatment of patients who have been with the practice for a long time.
