Our Story

Studbolt (Scotland) Ltd was formed in 2001 with the primary objective of meeting the requirements of contractors around the Grangemouth petrochemical complex. Over the years, we have built a reputation for being able to supply, on demand, items commonly used within this industry. Our customer base has grown significantly, and we now have daily shipments throughout the United Kingdom and Europe.

Our Services

Our wide range of products enables us to offer a 'One Stop Shop' for any pipework or mechanical engineering projects. We hold a comprehensive stock of ASTM A193 B7 & B16 and ASTM A320 L7 & L7M finished studbolts and are able to supply many other material grades on a next day basis. We also keep high tensile fasteners in grades 8.8, 10.9 and 12.9 in imperial and metric threads and in a range of different finishes. Any standard fasteners we do not have in stock we can normally supply on a next day basis. Non-standard fasteners, in various different materials, can be made to drawings or manufactured to suit your needs. Additionally, we hold in stock a wide range of the most popular gaskets and pipe supports including spiral wound gaskets, u-bolts, and pipe clips.

Quality and Management

Our products and service are maintained by a quality and management system accreditation to BS EN ISO 9001:2008. Our computer-controlled system ensures that all our certifiable stock is fully traceable and complete with relevant material test certificates. Further testing and certification, including independent testing, can be carried out when required.
