Bumbles Preschool

Our Approach to Learning

Working with Parents

At Bumbles Preschool, we recognize the importance of a close working relationship with parents. We believe that parents are the most important people in their child's life, and we work closely with you to ensure that your child's needs are met. We provide regular updates on your child's progress, and parents have the opportunity to discuss their child's development with our staff before and after sessions. We also offer an online learning journal, where you can view observations and photographs, and download a copy of your child's journal to keep as a memento of their time with us.

Funding and Funding Opportunities

We understand that funding can be a significant concern for many families, which is why we are committed to helping families access the financial support they need. We offer funded places for eligible two-year-olds and three- and four-year-olds, as well as extended funding for working parents. We also work closely with parents to ensure that they receive the support they need to access funding and resources.

Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)

At Bumbles Preschool, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their abilities. We have a dedicated Special Education Needs Coordinator (SENCo) who works closely with parents and outside professionals to ensure that children with special educational needs receive the support they need. We believe that early intervention is key, and we work closely with parents to identify and address any concerns they may have about their child's development.

Evaluating Effectiveness

At Bumbles Preschool, we believe that evaluating the effectiveness of our provision is crucial to ensuring that we are providing the best possible start for every child. We work closely with parents to establish clear goals and outcomes for each child, and we regularly review and update these goals to ensure that we are meeting the changing needs of each child. We also work closely with outside professionals to ensure that our provision meets the needs of children with special educational needs and disabilities.
