Paul heads a loyal and committed team of stylists who share his passion and dedication for the craft. Our salon, situated at 21 Stamford Street in Altrincham, WA14 1EX, is a welcoming and friendly space where we take the time to get to know each client as an individual. We believe that every person is unique, and we take pride in providing a bespoke and tailored service that meets your specific needs and aspirations.
Our Salon
Our ground floor is the central hub for cutting and finishing, where our expert stylists work their magic using the latest techniques and trends. We also have a barber shop located on our lower floor, catering to men's and kid's cuts. With lollipops on hand for every visit, even Dad can enjoy a sweet treat if he's been good!
On our top floor, we have three Wella colour technicians who are equipped with the latest colour technology. As a key account Wella salon, we offer the latest colour techniques and innovations to our clients.
Our Family
Maria Atherton, a.k.a. 'Mrs Paul Michaels', has supported Paul throughout his hairdressing career, gaining 20 years of industry experience. Maria specialises in cuts for male clientele of all ages and takes pride in keeping up with men's fashion.
Rebecca and Hayley, Paul and Maria's two talented daughters, were raised into the family business and share their parents' love of hairdressing. Rebecca has come home to work alongside her dad at Paul Michaels, while Hayley is currently styling in Australia.

Paul has appeared on several TV shows, including an episode of Extreme Dreams with Ben Fogle, where he performed a high-altitude shave on Ben, and a series called 'Britain's got the builders in'.
