Shiel Buses, a proud local family-owned business in the Scottish Highlands, has been providing exceptional bus services for over 40 years. Established in 1978 with just two buses, the company has since grown to operate a fleet of 50 vehicles and employ approximately 80 staff. Our primary goal is to serve the outlying communities in our beloved homeland, as well as providing essential town services in Fort William and its locality.

During the summer months, we take great pleasure in offering an abundance of touring work, with our buses frequently seen all over the UK. We cater to a wide range of outings, day trips, cruise ship excursions, and extended tours for both domestic and international travel companies and private groups. Since 2014, Shiel Buses has been working closely with Scottish Citylink, providing vehicles for their services between Glasgow and the Isle of Skye, and Fort William and Inverness.
