Welcome to Woody's Play Barn, a Hertfordshire-based business specialising in soft play and adventure for children aged 11 and under. We take pride in providing a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for your little ones to explore their imagination and creativity. Our spacious indoor and outdoor play area caters to children of all ages and abilities, offering a variety of activities and equipment to satisfy their sense of adventure.

With four first-aid trained staff members and a 5-star hygiene rating, you can rest assured that your child is in safe hands.
Our Facilities
Our facilities include a large soft play area, a separate toddlers' play area, a dining area, and two large party rooms. Our soft play area covers over 2000 square feet across two levels, featuring slides, tubes, ball pools, suspended walkways, rope walkways, fireman's poles, and tumble towers. The toddlers' play area features shapes, puzzles, rockers, games, interactive panels, and building blocks.
We've recently added an interactive digital wallpaper room, allowing children to customise their surroundings and unleash their creativity. We're committed to continuously improving our facilities to ensure that we provide the best possible experience for our customers.
Our Sessions
We offer a variety of sessions to suit your needs, including term-time sessions, afterschool sessions, Saturday sessions, and Sunday sessions. We require bookings for all soft play sessions, and we offer a loyalty program for weekday visits. We also offer Special Educational Needs (SEN) sessions, which are held on specified days and times. Please refer to our notice board for upcoming SEN sessions and other events.

Location and Ambiance
Woody's has a nice location for birthday parties, especially for younger children. The atmosphere is lovely, and the play area is great for all ages. The outdoor play area is excellent for spring and summer.
Services and Activities
The laser tag party was a huge hit for my son's 7th birthday. The party ran smoothly, and the staff were excellent. The under-3 section and bigger kids area are both superb, with plenty to do and explore. The food and drinks are nice and reasonably priced. The cafe is just okay, but it's not the main attraction. The soft play is good, but it can get very noisy at times.
Food and Drink
The food served during a birthday party was a letdown. The sandwiches, sausages, and snacks were all cold and unappetizing. The drinks were also overpriced. On the other hand, the jacket potato and snacks were delicious.
Staff and Service
The staff are generally friendly, happy, and fun. However, there have been some issues with staff management and communication. Some reviewers were disappointed with the staff's handling of certain situations, such as not informing customers about cleaning times or implementing mask requirements.
Value for Money
Some reviewers felt that Woody's was overpriced for the services offered. The prices for tickets and party packages were considered high, especially considering the limited availability of certain activities.
