Busy Bodies Big Kids Club

At Busy Bodies, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional quality childcare and early years education, tailored to the unique needs and interests of each child. Our vision is to create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment that fosters growth, exploration, and development.

Our History

Our journey began in 1998, when we opened our doors to the first 42 children. Since then, we have grown and evolved, now catering to 105 places daily, with 55 nursery care and 50 out-of-school care. We operate across two sites, with our nursery located in the charming 1860's Old School building in the heart of Euxton village. Our Big Kids Club is situated within the grounds of Euxton St Marys Primary School, providing a convenient and accessible location for parents.

Our Achievements

We are proud to have achieved the Lancashire Quality Award, recognizing our consistent high-quality care and education. Our Big Kids Club has also successfully achieved the Lancashire Step Into Quality Award, ensuring the highest standards of out-of-school care.

Sunshine Nursery

In addition to our UK-based services, we are also involved in international development work, supporting the Sunshine Nursery in a small and remote village in the Gambia. This project aims to provide support for the local school and community, promoting education and learning opportunities for children in this under-resourced region.
