With a rich history spanning over 240 years, this legendary pub has been a staple in the community and has been reimagined for the modern world by a local family who took it over at the start of 2020. The Fox and Hounds is proud to be part of the Gryffe Valley Pubs family and has become Renfrewshire's favourite venue, a progressive and family-friendly spot that also acts as a community space, supporting local organisations and events throughout the village and beyond.

From our annual Beer and Music Festival to our Pub Quiz & Games Night, there's always something happening at the Fox and Hounds. Our Beer and Music Festival has become one of the biggest events in Renfrewshire, attracting over 3000 attendees every year. Held at the end of May, our festival brings all-day entertainment with live music on our main stage and new beers and delicious drinks across seven outside bars.
For those who prefer a more low-key evening, we host a free-to-play speed quiz every Thursday at 8 pm in Hunters Bar, with the chance to win a 50 Gryffe Valley Pubs gift voucher. Our Games Night, held every Wednesday evening, is for over 18's and offers a fun and relaxed atmosphere for friends to catch up.
