Care and Support
The staff at Risedale, particularly Sarah the nurse, were praised for their exceptional care and support for the patients and their families. They provided dignity and respect to the patients, and went above and beyond to cater to their needs, such as providing endless amounts of ice cream and dandelion and burdock as requested.
Welcome and Comfort
Risedale was described as a bright, welcoming, and caring space for patients. The staff members were compassionate and provided the very best of care. They were helpful throughout the patient's journey and continued to support the family even after the patient's passing.
Family Support
The staff at Risedale were very supportive of the family and friends of the patients. They were always welcomed and encouraged to stay with their loved ones right until the end. The staff became like a second family to the patient's family.
Negative Experiences
However, there were some negative experiences reported. One staff member had a difficult time, receiving an unfriendly welcome, being constantly knocked down, and never receiving any appraisal. There was also bullying among some staff members.
