Disappointing Experience with GMI Construction
The reviewer, John Flynn, had a severely disappointing experience with GMI Construction from Erdington, Birmingham. The company was hired to excavate a site, but the work was incomplete and caused significant problems.
Unfinished and Shoddy Work
The excavator was booked to work from 8 am to 3 pm, but the operator, Jag, finished around 1:30 pm, leaving the job unfinished. The ground was left with numerous pot holes, and a large tree root was cut down but not removed properly. Additionally, Jag damaged nearby hedges and created a significant hole near the reviewer's front window, which was collecting water.
Poor Customer Service
The reviewer's brother was offended by Jag's aggressive behavior and excuses for not completing the work. The colleague of the excavator operator was also unpleasant, staring aggressively at the reviewer and his brother while eating crisps.
Frustrating Payment Experience
The reviewer was unhappy with the payment experience, as they paid 240 for the excavator to work until 3 pm, but the job was not completed. This left the reviewer feeling ripped off and frustrated with the company's lack of professionalism.
