Our story began in 2011, when we first opened our doors to serve specialty coffees, homemade cakes, and a variety of teas in a warm and welcoming environment. Over the years, we have evolved and grown, and in 2015, we opened our bakery in Market Place, which has become the heart of our business.
Our Journey
As we grew, we realized that our true calling was in the art of bread-making, and in 2019, we made the decision to close our coffee shop to focus solely on our bakery. This allowed us to concentrate on crafting the perfect loaves, without additives, just like grandma used to make. We're proud to say that our bread has become a staple in the community, and we're thrilled to share our passion with you.
Our Services
At The Coffee Kitchen Bakery, we're more than just a bakery. We offer a range of services designed to make your life easier and more delicious. Our bread making courses, held on Sundays, are perfect for beginners and experienced bakers alike, where you can learn the art of bread-making from our expert team. We also offer catering and wholesale services, so you can enjoy our delicious treats at your next event or in your own business.
In addition, our bakery is open Monday to Saturday from 8am to 4pm, and on Friday nights, we stay open late with a cafe-bar from 6pm to 11pm, where you can relax and enjoy a selection of great Cumbrian Beers and pizza.
