At The London Craftsman, we are a small but perfectly formed carpentry, joinery, and furniture making company based near St Albans, Hertfordshire. We take pride in our ability to design, build, and install all types of bespoke furniture, from bunk beds to wardrobes, dressing tables to bespoke kitchens, as well as taking on carpentry site work. Our speciality is bespoke fitted wardrobes, and we are committed to delivering exceptional quality and craftsmanship in every project we undertake.

Our Story

Our company is built on family values, and our head joiner, Ryan, has over 20 years of experience in the industry. After completing his apprenticeship, he gained a wealth of skills before starting The London Craftsman. We pride ourselves on the fact that everything we make is handmade, with no off-the-shelf factory-bought components. Every piece of furniture is carefully crafted by an individual cabinet maker, using only the finest materials and attention to detail.

We offer a wide range of services, including bespoke fitted wardrobes, alcove units, kitchens and bathrooms, decking and flooring, display and media units, window seats, dressing tables, beds, desks and bars, stairs, windows and doors, and all other types of bespoke furniture. We also provide a variety of finishes, including paints and spray paints, oils and waxes, clear oils, and lacquers. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, and we strive to make every project a unique and personal experience for our clients.

We are also dedicated to reducing our carbon footprint and being as environmentally friendly as possible. We have recently invested in a large array of solar panels, cutting our carbon footprint by 60%.
