Initial Impressions and Design
The reviewer was initially pleased with the layout and design of their new build property, built by Lindum. The exterior of the property, including the driveway, was well-finished and thoughtfully designed.
Issues with Finishing
However, the reviewer soon discovered various issues with the finishing of the property, particularly in the kitchen and bathrooms. The en-suite tiling was left unfinished, and the toilet seats were loose or falling off after only a year and a half. Additionally, edging in the shower and bath was done to prevent further damp, and the kitchen, although looking good from the outside, was poorly fitted and seemed rushed.
Customer Care
The reviewer was extremely dissatisfied with the customer care provided by Lindum. Despite responding to the issues within the six-month timeframe specified in the contract, the reviewer received poor service, including unanswered phone calls and emails, and rude treatment from staff. The reviewer had to involve their solicitors to pursue a settlement, which did not cover all the necessary work.
Ongoing Frustrations
The reviewer continues to experience frustrations with the property, with little things still popping up, and the poor aftercare has left a sour taste.
