Butterstone Pet Boarding, located in the picturesque Kent countryside, is a pet boarding facility that has been providing exceptional care for animals since 2011. Founded by Terry Kemp and Chris Johns, who are passionate about animal welfare, Butterstone Pet Boarding has established a reputation for being a dedicated and friendly team of animal lovers. Each animal that stays with us is treated as one of our own, and we ensure that their welfare is our top priority. We provide day and overnight stays for dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, and other small animals, and we require pre-booking for all of our services.
Pet Boarding
We offer both day and night boarding services at Butterstone Pet Boarding. Our day boarding provides a safe and social environment for your dog to build confidence, social skills, and maintain good physical and mental health. Our day care service is available for all breeds and activity levels and is a much happier and healthier alternative to your dog being left home alone. Our night boarding service is available for dogs, cats, chickens, and other small animals. We provide a caring and loving environment for your animals, giving you peace of mind while you are away.
Prices
Our prices are as follows:
- Dog day boarding: 16.50 per day
- Dog night boarding: 24 per day
- Cat night boarding: 15.50 per day
- Small animals: from 10 per day
- Afternoon collection incurs additional prices.
Opening Times
Our morning opening times for day and night boarding are from 9:00 - 12:00, and our afternoon opening times are from 14:00 - 16:00. We are closed daily between 12:00 and 14:00 for lunch, and our car park gates will be closed during these times. All collections and drop-offs must be made outside of these hours.

At Butterstone Pet Boarding, we value the importance of a good diet for all our animals. We provide only the best quality food to the animals during their time with us. We now sell Arden Grange cat and dog food for you to purchase in our shop and online at competitive prices.

We are situated on Well Lane off Faversham Road, which travels to Newnham and Doddington, two miles outside of Faversham and seven miles from the heart of Sittingbourne. We are nestled in the Kent countryside near farmland and open fields.
Happy Endings Rescue
Happy Endings Rescue is situated at Butterstone Pet Boarding. The charity re-homes and cares for domestic and farm animals. We are always looking for loving new homes for cats and dogs, so please connect with us and tell us more about yourself.
