Nestled in the picturesque countryside near Bradford-on-Avon, Widbrook Equestrian Centre has been a staple in the community for over 30 years. As a family-run business, we pride ourselves on offering a friendly and inviting atmosphere for riders of all ages and abilities. Our centre is a BHS Approved Riding School and Livery Yard, as well as a Pony Club Member, ensuring that the highest standards of safety and equine care are always met.
Facilities at Widbrook Equestrian Centre
At Widbrook Equestrian Centre, we offer a range of top-notch facilities for riders to enjoy. Our indoor school features a silica sand and rubber surface, automatic watering system, and lights, making it the perfect space for training in any weather conditions. The outdoor arena also boasts a silica sand and rubber surface, as well as lights and jumps for a more dynamic riding experience. For those looking for a more focused training session, our dressage arena is also available for hire.
Horse Riding Lessons and Training
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider, Widbrook Equestrian Centre has a lesson or training programme to suit your needs. Our qualified and professional instructors offer private or group lessons for both adults and children on weekdays and weekends. We also offer specialist clinics in jumping and dressage on the weekends.
If you're part of a riding group, be sure to take advantage of our loyalty card for discounts on your lessons. We also offer assessment lessons for independent and capable riders looking to join a group lesson or continue with private lessons. Please note that we are unable to offer assistance with mounting and dismounting at this time.
Livery Services
Widbrook Equestrian Centre has a range of livery spaces available for those looking for a long-term home for their horse. We offer a variety of packages tailored to meet your needs, so please contact our office for more details.
Events and Activities at Widbrook Equestrian Centre
Throughout the year, Widbrook Equestrian Centre hosts a number of events, including showjumping, dressage, and combined training. Additionally, we are proud to support Cancer Research UK and are running Ride for Research Dressage events. The first event is on February 5 at 9am, followed by events on March 5 and April 2. To stay up to date on all upcoming events and activities, be sure to follow us on Facebook. We are currently closed on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and our hours on Thursday are from 2pm - 5.30pm. On Friday, we are open from 9.45am - 4.15pm, and on Saturday and Sunday, our hours are 8.45am - 4.15pm.
