Our History
Coltsfoot Country Retreat has a rich history, dating back to 1998 when we first started conversions from a working livery. We opened our doors in 2000 as a small hotel and restaurant, and gradually expanded to accommodate private events and weddings. Over the years, we have lovingly maintained and improved our venue, ensuring that every detail is perfect for your special day.
Our Venue
Our converted barn venue is a true gem, with vaulted ceilings, beams, and stunning views over the countryside. Our main barn can accommodate up to 120 guests for a sit-down wedding breakfast, and up to 180 guests for the evening. We have also recently added two Shepherd's Huts, perfect for guests who want to stay on-site. And, of course, our venue's biggest attraction - the Alpacas - can even feature in your wedding photographs!
