Meet the Team

At Lochmaddy Hotel, we are a close-knit family. John and Lorna, with their 13 years of experience, lead the charge, ensuring every guest has a memorable stay. Their eldest son, Lewis, is the capable General Manager, while his wife Eilidh delights guests with her delectable pastries. The rest of our dedicated team, including bar staff, housekeeping staff, and young helpers, are all passionate about providing excellent service and ensuring your comfort.

We have a deep connection to the natural beauty of North Uist. John takes pride in managing the fishing roster for the island, offering guests privileged access to some of the best fishing spots. Our team can also provide valuable local knowledge, recommending stunning beaches, hidden hiking trails, and the best spots for spotting wildlife.

Choose from 15 comfortable en-suite bedrooms, 9 of which offer breathtaking sea views of Lochmaddy Bay and the Isle of Skye. We cater to diverse needs, with family rooms, twin rooms, doubles, singles, and even a single room available.
