Clients receive personalised consultations to select from over 400 frame mouldings, anti-UV glazing, and mount options, ensuring solutions that meet aesthetic and preservation needs while maintaining the artwork's integrity.
Conservation Framing
Specialist framing techniques prevent long-term damage to valuable artworks using acid-free materials and reversible methods. Our certified conservators protect pieces from environmental factors like light and humidity. This service caters to private collectors and institutions requiring archival standards, ensuring fragile works such as watercolours and historical documents remain preserved for future generations without compromising their original condition.
Frame Restoration
Restoration of damaged antique and ornate frames using traditional techniques to maintain original character. We repair broken sections, clean tarnished surfaces, and recreate intricate details on gilt or wooden frames. When restoration isn't feasible, we provide reproduction frames that match the original's style and quality, ensuring artworks retain their historical authenticity and visual appeal.
Art Restoration
Expert cleaning and repair of oil, acrylic, and paper-based artworks damaged by age or environmental factors. Our conservators address issues like staining, flaking paint, and structural damage while preserving the artist's intent. Regular clients include museums and private collectors seeking to revive irreplaceable works, with techniques that often enhance the artwork's value and visual clarity.
Gallery Services
Curated gallery spaces showcasing framed artworks and offering framing advice to visitors. We provide insights into design choices and material benefits, helping clients visualise options for their own pieces. The gallery also serves as a demonstration area for innovative framing techniques, allowing customers to see examples of conservation practices and creative presentation methods before committing to their own projects.
